Giro inspires performance in every shoe in its line and the new mid-level Rincon is destined to become a favorite for off-road racers that don't need dual dials and full carbon soles. Featuring a body and design , which are essentially Sector-lite The Rincon features a drop-down Synchwire upper for increased durability and reinforced toe and heel cups to protect against harder impacts on the trail. However, the difference with the top-level Sector is the single BOA L6 dial on the top collar compared to the double on the Sector as well as a less rigid nylon composite outsole. Although it may seem like a sacrifice Rincon provides toe compression with a Velcro strap for manual adjustment. And the nylon outsole will still allow you to overcome obstacles with ease. leaving no desire to purchase a more expensive carbon sole.
Rincon interior compartment supports mid-arch shape and 3D footbed providing excellent fatigue resistance during a long day on the bike. Aegis anti-odor treatment helps combat odor buildup as the Ricon is designed to be the ideal explorer's shoe for creek crossings and long mountaineering climbs in the summer heat. And the durable rubber outsole provides stability while cycling and won't flake or split with regular use.. Ricon is compatible with two-bolt cleats and toe cleats which will allow you to travel through mud.
